Here’s The Dream Believers as it made its way down Colorado Boulevard during the Rose Parade.  The float won the coveted Grand Marshal trophy for Creative Excellence and Design — for the second year in a row!

Meet Chloe!

The Discover Card Rose Parade float wouldn’t be complete without Chloe – our blue and brown eyed Dalmatian! Best part is… she doesn’t bark!!

Just what exactly goes into the Discover “O” ….

Orange and peach lentil… saffron…straw flower and sweet rice. And let’s not forget the dehydrated carrot!!! Yes, that’s all for the “O”!!

As the date continues to draw nearer to the Rose Parade, Discover Card employees, family and friends continue to work hard around the clock to put the finishing touches on the Discover Card Rose Parade float. Check out some of the spectacular design details that make our Discover Card float come alive!!!   

Here, float workers glue on golden flaxseed to the straps of the doctors bag, which is covered in brown flaxseed. According to a special onsite source — “It is so much harder than it looks!!!”
